The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It is my favorite of the three movies of the series, The Chronicles of Narnia, which are based on a series of novels written by C. S. Lewis. (To be honest, it is one of my favorites of all the movies I have seen to date).
In this movie, Lucy Pevensie, one of the main characters, while playing hide and seek with her siblings, finds a wardrobe which turns out to be the portal into the land of Narnia. There she learns that she and her siblings are part of a plan to save the inhabitants of Narnia from an evil ruler, the White Witch.
I am intrigued by the fact that what appeared to be an ordinary wardrobe was in fact a portal that ushered the Pevensie siblings into experiences beyond any they could have imagined. And I am reminded of Romans 5:3-5 which tells us that problems and trials help us to develop endurance (or patience as some translations state) and endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our hope. Father, thank You that You design trials to grow us up, not take us out, and deepen the intimacy of our relationship with You.
