Today I begin a new feature called “Mid-week Boost” (MB) which I will continue at least until the end of the year. The purpose is to provide some encouragement, a boost to help us get us over the mid-week “hump.” The feature will include a song and a verse or passage of Scripture. I would appreciate your feedback. Also, if there is a song and/or passage of Scripture by which you have been encouraged, please share it in the comments. Also, you are invited to create a post of your own and use the tag, #midweekboost. Thanks.
8 Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. 10 So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10, AMP)
Very timely. God’s strength is perfect. God’s strength is perfect. I am strong in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you God for your healing strength.
Amen. I appreciate your encouragement.
I love the amplified version for study. It brings so much to light..
It does. I find it to be a great resource.
