Linking up with Lisa Jo Baker and friends for Five Minute Friday. The prompt is “Nothing.”
Nothing is wasted
Nothing is wasted
In the hands of our Redeemer
Nothing is wasted
These words from a song by Jason Gray came to mind in response to today’s prompt. “Nothing is wasted.” Thought of how parents tell children not to waste food and how much food we Americans waste each year. So the thought that nothing is wasted is a mind boggling concept, until I recall in whose hands this miracle occurs. “In the hands of our Redeemer, nothing is wasted.”
Nothing.
Not one heartache.
Not one heartbreak.
Not one rejection.
Not one single failure.
Nothing is wasted in His hands.
“In His hands.”
It is true that all things were made by Him, the Word, and He sustains all things. But I must put all things in His hands in order to experience the joy and the miracle of nothing being wasted, of all being transformed, made new by Him.
Video added after “Stop.” 🙂
